How to paint simple floral design with watercolours

In the last blog posts, I have shared some techniques of painting leaves and flowers. Hope you all are practicing it well.

But now it's time to take it to the next level.

Yes! We are going to apply all the techniques ( which I shared in last posts) to make beautiful, simple, and easy floral designs.

Here I am sharing some simple steps of making these beautiful floral designs and with the help of these steps, you can make thousands of new designs!!! That’s amazing…

So without wasting much time, Let’s get started.

Get ready with your paints and brushes.

How to make simple floral design with watercolours

Step 1

First you have to paint flowers ( of your choice). Here, I have painted 3 roses (coz I loovveee roses).

Step 2

Then paint leaves…. Lots and lots of leaves… but if you don’t like leaves then you can paint as much leaves as you want… no problem. 

Here I have painted many different types of leave.

Just keep in mind that you don’t have to make very perfect shapes for leaves. Let it be imperfect (Imperfection is Perfection).

Step 3 (OPTIONAL) 

Its totally your choice whether you want to do this step or not (but I would suggest you should do it… well it’s your choice)

Make some little flowers or buds around the design, coverup the space or just to make the design more beautiful, Paint more little flowers.

Just make sure you don’t over do it. Keep the design a bit simple.

Just like this you can paint thousands of new floral designs!!! Don’t stop, keep painting something beautiful everyday.
