MAKING SIMPLE FLOWERS WITH WATERCOLOURS

Colours… ready?

Papers… ready?

Brushes… ready?

If yes, let’s get started with most simplest and fun thing, FLOWERS 🌸 🌻.

Flowers are very beautiful and easy to paint. When I started watercolour painting, I started with practicing flower paintings.

First I painted very easy one, the small garden flowers and then with enough practice I started painting rose, lotus and many other flowers.

So today, I will be sharing some of the easiest flowers that you can paint easily (even if you are a beginner and never painted anything).

Let’s get started with MAKING SIMPLE FLOWERS WITH WATERCOLOURS

We’ll fun thing 😂 I don’t know the names of these flowers, I just painted them randomly.

Now

Look at this picture carefully

MAKING SIMPLE FLOWERS WITH WATERCOLOURS

All these tiny and easy flowers were painted in 3 simple steps.

STEP 1

First draw the flower with pencil.

STEP 2

Lighten the flower drawing with the help of eraser.

Then colour it lightly with the colour you want.

For example, if you want to make a red flower then in second step colour it in light red colour. Add a bit of water to the red colour to get its lighter shade.

STEP 3

Now shade the flower with the same colour you used in step 2 but just make sure that colour you use is a bit darker then the previous one.

Or if you want to shade it with different colour, you can do that to. Just make sure that the colour you use matches or suits the first colour you used to paint the flower in step 2.

Like this you can paint as many flowers (simple one) as you want.

Hope you liked this technique.

If you liked it and it helped you, then please share this with your friends who also wants to paint.

Thanks for reading this 😃.
