What I use instead of watercolours to get the same magical effects and colours ?!

I always wanted to paint with watercolours because I have seen so many amazing paintings on the internet and wanted to try them out.

But we all know… colours are not cheap… they are EXPENSIVE !!! And I was not sure about buying them.

But I came up with an idea of using home made watercolours… CHEAP WATERCOLOURS !

So, What I use instead of watercolours to get the same magical effects and colours ?!

I’ll tell you.

It’s very easy, simple and all of us has that things from which we are going to make OUR OWN HOMEMADE WATERCOLOURS!

Let’s get started.

How to make your own homemade water colours?

Things Needed

For this you’ll need 

1. Water 
2. Colour palette 
3. And… sketch pens 🤩… yes this is the main thing 

Procedure

Now follow the steps as I have mentioned here.

Step 1  

Remove the refills of the sketch pens. It can be a bit messy, but it’s ok… we love colours 😍

Step 2

Hold one of the refill in your hand and dip it one of the end in water for 5 to 10 seconds.

Step 3

Now take colour palette and squeeze out the ink 5 to 6 drops from the refill.

Step 4

Do the same with all refills and fill the palette with these colours.

And DONE! 

You have your own homemade watercolours! 

And I’m not kidding, they have same effects as the watercolours. This technique is very very cheap and easy to do. I’m sharing some of my paintings that I have painted with these homemade watercolours!
